2 Opportunities to Get Involved

1. ROUND ROCK PARADE

Time:   We will meet at 8am and the parade will begin at 9am!

Place:  Harris St & West Bagdad is the meeting area. (Downtown Round Rock)

What to Wear: Celebration Tshirts of any kind.  Like KiDS or Serve (red would be best)

Who can Join: Anyone that can Represent in a Celebration Tshirt!  KiDs are very much Welcome and encouraged!

Details: We will be walking in the Parade down Main Street in Round Rock!  Celebration Banners and Lots of candy is the name of this Outreach!  What an opportunity!

2. FRONTIER DAYS FESTIVAL

“Celebration Cooling Station”

We have a PRIME SPOT in the middle of Old Settlers Park and all the activities!  There will be Thousands of people at this event and our booth will be the “Celebration Cooling Station”. Complete with large cooling fans and lots of cold water and drinks to give out.  We will have slots for volunteers to fill:

Come on out and Serve Cold Water and Lemonade!  It will be a great time!  Please email serve@celebrationchurchtx.com with questions and to sign up for the parade and/or the Festival! Be sure to note the time your can be there and how many people are with you.  Once you sign up, we will be sending out more details on locations to meet.

Celebration Serve Team SERVING at 2011 Keep Austin Weird 5K!!

Celebration Church Wants you to Get INVOLVED!

Saturday afternoon we loaded up the Vans and headed downtown to assist our friends at RunTex and Bounce with the Annual KAW 5K!   This was definitely an experience and we will be back next year!  From unloading water trucks to Water Fights with Austin Residents… It was a blast and thousands knew that Celebration Serves team was there to help!  “It’s events like this that let Austin Residents know that we LOVE AUSTIN!” said Pastor Shawn Bouldin (Austin Campus Pastor).  Out of the 25 Celebration Volunteers that came out to help, many plan to attend the Austin Campus in August!  Get plugged in!  Sign up by emailing Serve@celebrationchurchtx.com for weekly updates!  Just say SIGN ME UP!  Small Group Leaders.. Set your Group up for an Event!

In the MORNING :

7am – 10am —>> Join us for ANGEL FOOD Distribution Day!  Meet at Berkman Elementary School in Round Rock (Pastor Charles Venezio is Team Lead)

In the EVENING :

5pm – 9pm—>> Meet us at the Church at 5:00 pm for this one…

One of the goals of our OUTREACH at Celebration is to reach EVERYONE!!.  So… This Saturday I need some solid brothers and sisters to join us as we volunteer with KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD FESTIVAL & 5K!!! We were actually extended the invitation from our friends at RunTex and Bounce Austin to assist with the KAW (Keep Austin Weird) 5K.  It will be a great time and you will be provided a KAW Tshirt for participating!  I do need to ask that you are at least 18 years of age to participate in this one.  Please sign up by emailing serve@celebrationchurchtx.com and please include your Tshirt size!

OUTREACH Information Night

Join us this Wednesday to learn more of how you can get connected with Celebration Outreach! Info meetings are scheduled every 4th Wednesday of the month.  We will recognize accomplishments and take a look at the future of our OUTREACH TEAMS!   Bring a friend… No Strings Attached!

Time: 6:00pm-6:45pm    Wed. June 22nd

Place:  XL Building out by Basketball court (Westinghouse Campus)

OUTREACH Leader Night

If you enjoy planning and communicating, join us every 2nd Wednesday of the month!  Team Leader night is for anyone with a desire to grow into Leadership with Outreach at Celebration.  With unlimited potential and the diversity of events, you are needed!

Time: 6:00pm-6:45pm

Wed. July 13th

Place: Pastoral Care Conference Room (Westinghouse Campus)

Pastor Joe and Lori’s incredible relationship with Brian and Bobbie Houston Lead Pastors of HillSong gave us an awesome opportunity to Serve this amazing event!  What an honor it was to see our Red Serve Tshirts everywhere as over 7000 came through the doors at the Cedar Park Center!  It was a big night and our team rocked it!  Great job!

June 11th – SERVE SATURDAY- This Weekend!

(Two OPPORTUNITIES to Serve)

1. Second Saturday Market Days and Concerts

Georgetown and Round Rock are BIG on Events and local community!  This summer (along with our RAKe program.. that will kick off very soon!)  We as an Outreach Team will leverage the Events that already happen in our communities!  Reaching more people is the goal… So… we will go where the people are!  Down the Alley Bistro has invited us to use their space for a lemonade stand for this event! 

We will have shifts:

9am-12pm

12pm-2pm

2pm-4pm. 

We will also walk the crowd (wearing our SERVE Tshirts handing out water).

Down the Alley Bistro is on the Square in Georgetown (8th Street & Austin Avenue) **We will be set up outside

***Please email serve@celebrationchurchtx.com to sign up for this weekends shifts.  We will post the names of people serving by Friday evening*** We need Team Leads for Each Shift (please note in your email if you would like to lead)

2. two50two’s garage sale fund raiser

Join our Serve Team this Saturday as we help with this Outreach Fund raiser. two50two is led by Lori Goggins and is a mentoring program that Celebration supports.  See below for details:
